To Love Him As He Loves Us

God is looking for a generation who will take His first commandment seriously; “love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.” We strive hard to love God wholeheartedly, but often we fail because we don't realize, His endless love for us. Only when we comprehend the width, length, depth and the height of His love, are we able to express authentic love sincerely and genuinely.

Never will there be another soul who will
shower you with unconditional love, like God. Our Father loved you so much that He purchased you with His priceless gift; He gave His best gift to claim you as His. He sacrificed His only begotten Son for you.

The Bible says,
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). It says, "For God so LOVED the WORLD that He GAVE His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON"; God did not give His Son to the world out of necessity; He gave His most valuable treasure as a gift to the world, so He can claim us as His priced possession. Next time when you feel lonely, unloved, abandoned, rejected or afraid; just gaze at the cross and you will see "I LOVE YOU" smeared in blood. The world states its love in mere words but God proved His love at the cross through deeds.

Once we receive a deeper revelation of His love, then we will seek Him sincerely and love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. This aids us to fulfill the second commandment; which is to "love your neighbour as yourself". We strive so hard to love others, but we cannot portray what we do not know. There is a difference between knowing God's love and experiencing His love at an intimate level. We all know that God loves us, but only when we practice His love daily, are we able to love others the way God love us.

Loving others may seem difficult at times; because we portray the image of unlovable, rude and selfish creatures; but that’s not the truth. We are all created in God's image and to say we are made in His likeness is to say that Love is the reason for our existence. For God is Love and Love is God. Let's abide in God's love and let His sweet fragrance resinate through us.

Power of the Promise

Genesis 1: 28

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

When God created Adam, He spoke a command to him and blessed him. Some of the first words spoken to Adam from His Creator were “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth.” Now Adam’s purpose was to multiply and subdue. As Adam tries to fulfill his purpose, he seems to do nothing but fail. He slowly tries to grow his family, but his sons end up murdering each other. Cain murders Abel. Not only that, Cain is abolished. Adam has officially failed. God blessed him to multiply; but now he is further back than he was at the beginning.

But look at the world today; we speak of overpopulated cities and sustainable energy to accommodate the growth of humans. How? This is because of the Promise that was spoken upon Adam from God Himself. If God was to speak a promise in your life, it is a commandment. No power can withhold you from attaining what God has spoken in your life. Adam may have thought he has failed, but God knew the Power of His Words.

Life may not be smooth sailing, but we have an unmovable anchor and that is Jesus. Hold fast to His words and proclaim His blessings over your life, for His promises will never fail!

In Search of You

Walking along the shore,
Holding onto Your hand,
Nothing to fear,
Because I am secure,
In Your hand.

I see Your footprints,
Next to mine.
So I let go of worry,
And start to run,
Ahead of You,
Going my own way.

As I gaze into the dark sky,
My running stops
My soul trembles deep within me,
I hear the wind howling.
I look right next to me,
And see no sign of You.
Where are You, My God?
Have I run too far?

Than Your words reached out,
They called out to me.
A deep comfort flooded my heart.
Where can I go from Your presence?
Even if I make my bed in Hades,
You are there!
You are the All in all,
Your presence is felt in all creation,
Your breath sustains all life.

As I sat and pondered...
Staring above...
Seeking Your face in the stars,
They proclaimed to me Your majesty,
But in them You were not found,
As I looked at the majestic waves,
They proclaimed to me Your sovereignty,
But in them You were not found.

I was saddened at Your absence,
Felt shunned from Your presence.
Then I heard You whisper,
Son, I’m never at a distance,
Look within, you’ll smell My fragrance.
Your heart is My temple,
So never tremble.

You are my child, created in My image,
I’ve cradled you in the womb,
I've carved you on My palm,
I've nurtured you with love,
I've sheltered you under My wings,
And healed all of your wounds.
So, do not be afraid.
For I will never leave you,
Nor forsake you.

My Son, to see me.
Look within,
For I am Your Maker,
Your only true Father.
Just believe deep within,
And hear My heart,
Beating for you,
For I abide in you.

Run back to Me,
Through the night,
Ignoring the noise,
Enduring the cold,
With My love and patience,
Weather through the storm,
And see My light.
Embrace My love,
With open arms.
